Video games, a booming market

Video game production is one of the major leisure industries of our time, from an economic and financial point of view but also for the number of employment opportunities it has created and the capital it mobilizes as well as for its popularity and the ever growing part of the population concerned.

This thriving industry has acquired a certain maturity and it is now necessary for young graphics designers to learn its specific skills in order to find their place in this field. The video game training allows students to learn about all aspects of the creation of video games (game design, preproduction, resource development, integration,…) while specializing in the production of graphic resources (characters, vehicles, objects, settings, animations, effects, level design, interfaces,…).

Through the execution of several projects the students will have the opportunity to study the production channels specific to several platforms (PC, console,..) on cutting-edge technologies (engines, software,…). The students will also learn level design, while becoming familiar with notions of game play and game scripting. The courses are given by professionals specialized in the various domains of video games.

The production of a demo is the final objective of the training.

Moreover the students will be prepared to contact different people involved in the video game industry appropriately in order to get started professionally.
