Robert Floriel – WideScreen Games
« I was surprised at the professional level of last year’s productions and at your students’ quality of understanding towards video game constraints in current-gen as well as on last-generation consoles. »

WideScreen Games
WideScreen Games was founded by the end of 1999 in Lyon, France. The studio developed PlayStation2 and PC CD-ROM versions of the action-adventure game Dune, based on the internationally famous best seller by Frank Herbert, that was adapted for the big screen by film director David Lynch.
By the end of 2001, Frank Herbert’s Dune was released on PlayStation2 and PC CD-ROM in Europe and North America.
After this first success, WideScreen has worked on many projects and is currently participating in the development of action-adventure games based on original universes.
WideScreen Games is a member of Lyon InfoCité and of LyonGame, the video game companies’ association in Lyon and its area. The association works in partnership and with the help of the Grand Lyon and the ADERLY. The company also participates in a technological innovation programme in partnership with the ANVAR and the European MEDIA programme.
