Alexis Van der Haeghe – 3D, Animation
I’m currently working in cinema and advertising… in London.
I’m 23 and I have a Bachelor’s degree in computer graphics.
I’ve had the opportunity to follow one of the most advanced trainings in 3D, multimedia and CGI technologies. In this environment combining digital creation with quite modern computer software technologies, the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard has been able to make up for the different difficulties I encountered during my curriculum. In this institution you can enjoy a quite exceptional and specific supervision, as you are mainly trained by freelance teachers who come from a professional environment. This has allowed me to keep up to date in a field that is precisely always on the move.
I only have one regret: the length of the curriculum. Three years are unfortunately not enough to learn all the specificities of this fascinating, wide-ranging job.
But now I complete my training with a very enriching professional experience abroad. I have presented the final project I created at the Haute Ecole and this has opened doors for me in a profession that is often closed to young graduates without experience.
I am now working in film and advertising at the Framestore CFC – Londres studio in London. Working there has allowed me to discover a new country, a fabulous language and what’s more, the projects are interesting and the quality of life really attractive.
