« … to have the opportunity to be trained by professionals… this is where it happens! »
Graphic design in an exciting field. The different existing techniques always keep evolving. And versatility is a quality that many studios are now looking for. Fortunately the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard gives us the opportunity to discover all these techniques in a curriculum that approaches all fields of graphic design.
Those three years, although finally too short, are nevertheless extremely well-balanced. The first year allows us to do a bit of everything, we approach 3D, graphic design in general and Web without discrimination. In the second year we have the opportunity to delve deeper into several fields related to our personal project. And the third year, which is without any doubt the best one, gives us several months of total freedom to express ourselves through a personal final project where our imagination is the limit, as we have full control over our creation…
I had the opportunity to meet teachers introducing us to the art of graphic design on a very professional level. They were listening to us, and knew how to guide us and to support us during all our training. They were all an indispensable support for me…
I completed my studies in June 2006 and I am part of those who came out wiser from the experience. I then followed a Master in Animation in Great Britain until end of December 2006, in order to compare the techniques and to learn English more in details. This was a rewarding experience and I realized how much I benefited from my Belgian training on all respects.
In a constantly evolving field, it is nowadays absolutely necessary to have to opportunity to be guided by professionals. This is where it happens…
